Where is MC/DC taking place?
MC/DC is hosted at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA, only eight miles from Dulles airport. See our travel page for more details.
What’s the Easiest way to get there?
The nearest airport is Dulles International Airport (IAD), approximately 8 miles away. See our travel page for more details.
Given Recent Events, Does MC/DC Require Entering Washington D.C.?
MC/DC guests will not need to go through Washington D.C. at all — the recommended airport (IAD), hotel (Springhill Suites Ashburn Dulles North), and convention venue (Huzzah Hobbies) are all in Virginia outside of the district. See our travel page for more details.

Attending MC/DC
What Time Do Things Start?
The event itself begins Friday, October 16 at Huzzah Hobbies. Timing will be provided as we get closer to the event.
Check in will start 30 minutes before doors open. Please have your ticket QR code either up on your phone or printed out. If you don't have it, please bring a photo ID.
Upon check in, everyone will receive their bundle of custom cards and other materials.
What should I bring with me?
Closer to the event, we’ll provide a detailed packing list for all required scenarios, modular sets, and other recommended game elements. Deodorant and a reusable water bottle with a secure-fitting lid are also recommended.
Although we’re adding space this year, we encourage everyone to pack their cards such that whatever you bring to the con will fit under your seat so everyone has ample room to play.
What food is available at Huzzah hobbies?
Huzzah Hobbies has a snack bar that sells food & drinks, including beer.
Where is there to eat around HUzzah and the Hotel?
There are a number of restaurants around Huzzah and the hotel! We’ll have a list and note any that are offering discounts to MC/DC attendees closer to the event.
Can i bring outside food/drink?
Outside food and drink is allowed in Huzzah Hobbies, but outside alcohol is prohibited. Please keep in mind that space will be limited in the game area.
What if I need Help During the Event?
The MC/DC team will be wearing lanyards and MC/DC t-shirts — grab one of us if you have any questions or concerns!
